This series stems from the entangled chaos of seaweed found at the seashore. The lines feel calligraphic and are true to the lines found in the piles that have been washed ashore.
The paintings have been created using templates of curvaceous lines overlapped and layered to replicate piles of seaweed. Foam shapes depicted by water symbols in a continuous pattern are silk-screened onto the panel.
